T: Hippocrates said, “Ars longa, vita brevis“ which means: life is short, art is

longer. Do you agree with Hippocrates? What is art? One of the definitions of the

word art is the study or creation of beautiful things. What works of art can you name?

They are paintings, pieces of music, films, ballets, poems, etc. Where can we see works

of art? In many places: in the streets, in the theatre or cinemas, at home as well as in

museums exhibitions and art or picture galleries. Today we are going to speak about the

famous writes and painters of Great Britain. We’ll show you presentations and speak

about your famous painter.
